How much can I expect to pay for a full-service wedding of 200?

With the rising costs of goods and services as of late, you can look towards the price range between 6-$10,000+. Certain factors will affect the price, including how many options chosen, but it can be less or more than your budget. Having your event buffet style is the more cost-effective way and most common. Expect the costs to be towards the higher end with things added like multiple waitstaff and a plated dinner event. Feel free to contact us to see your options.

How much will my deposit be if I decide to choose you as my caterer?

The non-refundable deposit will be 25% of the price quoted. If within 90 days of the calendar event, a minimum of 50% will be required. A deposit is required in order to reserve the date and to obtain all goods and staff for the event.

What if I have to cancel my event or have an unforeseen change?

Depending on how soon the event is to your cancellation, a change of date may made if there is a date open. If there is no way to switch dates and/or both parties can’t reach an agreement, unfortunately the deposit will not be returned as stated and signed in the contract. Although this is a highly rare occurrence, the deposit is used toward the costs of obtaining the goods and hiring staff prior to an event.

Is a walk-through needed?

Walk-throughs are needed for venues GSC has not had held an event before. It ensures the logistics will go smooth and to discuss any other expectations. This will be added to your invoice and it will need to be scheduled no later than 2 weeks prior to the event and discussed shortly after a deposit is made. If multiple re-schedules are to occur, an additional fee will be added depending on distance.

Does Golden State Catering serve alcohol at events?

Golden State Catering does not currently possess an alcohol license at this time. We work with multiple vendors who we hire to use at our events and has great pricing and hospitality.

My event is outdoors or is a bit of a drive, can you still provide catering to us?

Yes, we can still provide catering if you are hosting an outdoor event, or the location is a few hours away from us. We use the best equipment to preserve and transfer the food in any location. We use multiple commercial kitchens that we work out of, depending on your event location.

Do you offer discounts?

I do offer a 10% discount on events that are paid in full. Certain events may also qualify for a discount when inquired.
